Citrix Receiver Slow

Receiver

When ‘Citrix is slow’ means in-session performance issues, these issues are caused by network issues, server resource issues, or end-user behavior. Forticlient and Citrix Receiver I am having performance problems with Citrix receiver when running forticlient real-time AV protection. The symptoms I see are mouse & Keyboard become very slow to respond in the citrix session. When trying to type, there will be a lag in the keystrokes showing up that could be ip to 1 second.

Hi

Citrix Receiver Slow Performance

I connect to the laptop Windows 10 64bit at my office from a HP Slimline 260-a144ng Microsoft Windows 10.0.15063 Home 64bit with Receiver 4.7 and is almost impossible to work for me. The change of a window takes like 20 seconds. It is very frustrating. The CPU is not working overtime and with 16 GB it has plenty of free RAM. I upgraded to so much because with the original 4 GB it was the same behavior and I was not sure whether the HP was paging and therewith slowing down.

I could just connect to the very same office laptop over the very same connection and the responsiveness is fine. It is a lenovo G50-30 with 8 GB RAM, kubuntu 16.10 64bit, Kernel 4.8.0-58 generic, KDE Plasma 5.7.5, KDE frameworks 5.26.0 and Qt 5.6.1.

As the support team of the office laptop does not have similar problems reported I assume that there is something borked with my HP. I installed receiver out of the box without trying to tweak any settings.

What am I doing wrong?
